QA Associate

Vaxxas aims to provide an optimised, differentiated needle-free vaccine delivery solution that safely and cost effectively amplifies vaccine efficacy, improves acceptability of administration and enhances vaccine stability. We have partnered with a high profile vaccine companies and health care organisations in-order to achieve these aims.

As we progress through clinical studies and build the product pipeline, we are looking for an experienced candidate to join the Quality Team to assist in executing our strategy for quality assurance and compliance as the company transitions from Research & Development, through our Clinical Program, to Commercial Supply.

The role
The newly created, full time role would suit someone with experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector, possibly in a similar role or with a QC background, seeking to build a career in a fast paced company environment. This position will proactively drive compliance through implementation and maintenance of quality systems and will assist in the execution of the quality assurance and compliance strategy through appropriate use of GxP and other relevant industry standards & regulations. The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager.

The person
You must have a tertiary qualification in science, engineering or pharmacy and demonstrated pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device experience, with working experience in Quality.

You must also have demonstrated experience in a similar role and have working knowledge in one of the following: GLP, GMP or ISO 13485 compliance in one or more regulatory framework: TGA, FDA, MHRA, EMA.

Along with expert technical knowledge in one or more of the following fields: bioanalytical assay development and validation, aseptic manufacturing, equipment engineering, biologics manufacturing, microbiology, computer compliance, clinical development, validation, pharmacovigilance.

The position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures, review and record data. The position will require good organisation, team working skills and oral and written communication.
